State of the Salmon Maps
A set of sophisticated & interactive visualizations that depict a seemingly trivial dataset: the current salmon status & trends across the North Pacific to inform salmon conservation & management decisions. it allows users to explore to check the condition of stocks, their environmental impact & the management status of different fish grounds.
This project aims to use innovative ways of visualizing fisheries assessments “to help increase public awareness & participation in the salmon MSC certification process for Alaska & enhance public understanding of salmon management performance in general”
